Cat Block Party (Purrfect Day) Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
Cat Block Party combines Churn Dash blocks with cat blocks in a six-by-seven arrangement. Both block groups use framed centers and pieced outer units, while the cat faces gain their pointed ears from small corner triangles. The finished quilt measures 60 by 70 inches. Wendy Sheppard’s layout uses thirty-three Churn Dash blocks and nine cat blocks, placing the cats among the surrounding prints before the top is quilted and bound.
