Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Have a Heart Tote features Rescue Me prints in a 14-by-17-inch bag with a choice of dog or cat panels. Each face uses a three-by-three arrangement of printed blocks, with coordinating fabric for the lining. A continuous fabric loop forms the handle and the sides and bottom of the tote. Binding finishes the exposed edges, and a folded section at the top of the handle makes it narrower where it rests on the shoulder.

Have a Heart Tote Free Pattern by Whistler Studios quilt pattern summary

  1. Cut two three-by-three block panels in the dog or cat print. Prepare the lining rectangles, side and handle strips, and strips for binding.
  2. Join each panel to its lining at the top, press and topstitch. Fold wrong sides together, baste around the remaining edges and trim any excess lining.
  3. Join handle and side strips into continuous outer and inner loops. Baste the loops together, then align the bottom seam with each panel center and sew around the sides and bottom.
  4. Bind the exposed panel and loop edges. Fold the handle sides toward the center underneath and stitch across the top several times to secure the narrower shoulder section.
