Description:

Arrowheads in the Desert is a 62-inch square quilt by Debby Kratovil, featuring the Mesa collection. Appliquéd cactus and boot blocks alternate with pieced arrowhead blocks in a four-by-four arrangement. The arrowheads use mirrored triangle units, while the appliqué shapes are fused and stitched onto cream backgrounds. Strips frame the arrowhead blocks, and red and striped borders complete the top. Templates and optional specialty-ruler guidance support the pieced construction.
