Aveline Free Quilt Pattern by Stephanie Sheridan
Aveline centers its design on a large appliqued block, framed by two pieced borders of small squares and a wider appliqued outer border. Stephanie Sheridan designed the 40-inch square quilt using French Armoire fabrics. The intermediate project uses fusible web to position the prepared shapes, with optional zigzag or buttonhole stitching around their raw edges. A walnut-tan fabric supplies both selected applique shapes and the binding that finishes the quilt.
