Blackbird Cabin Free Quilt Pattern by Marsha Evans Moore
Blackbird Cabin brings an appliquéd bird and branching leaves together with Log Cabin blocks in Circa: Onyx fabrics. Marsha Evans Moore's intermediate design places the appliqué center on point within surrounding pieced sections. Additional birds, hearts and leafy stems decorate the outer appliqué borders, followed by a fussy-cut printed Log Cabin border. The quilt finishes at 58 inches square and includes both raw-edge and turned-edge preparation options for the appliqué shapes.
