Building Nests Free Quilt Pattern by Allison Jane Smith
Building Nests uses the Peacock collection to build thirty blocks from central squares, successive fabric strips and diagonally sewn corner squares. Each round adds another frame around the center, with lilac corners completing the blocks. Six rows of five blocks form the quilt, and lilac strips border the finished arrangement. The quilt measures 84 by 100 inches and uses eighteen Peacock fabrics, a separate lilac fabric and blue dot fabric for the binding.
