Butterfly Frolic Free Quilt Pattern by Lisa Swenson Ruble
Butterfly Frolic places seven appliqued butterflies across a background pieced from four large triangles. Lisa Swenson Ruble designed this 42-inch square project with Wild Meadow fabrics, using the printed background to frame the smaller butterfly shapes. The butterfly fabrics are supplied as fat eighths, while separate yardage provides the background and binding. Reversed templates guide the fusible applique, and decorative stitching secures the shapes before the quilt is layered, quilted and finished.
