Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

By the Fireside is a 64 by 72 inch rag quilt featuring Atlas Flannel fabrics. Heidi Pridemore’s design uses individually layered squares, each quilted across both diagonals before the blocks are joined. The squares are arranged in nine rows of eight, with the seam allowances exposed on the front. Clipping those allowances and washing the completed quilt creates the frayed finish, while the printed layout guides the placement of the different fabrics.

  4. Stitch around the perimeter, clip the exposed allowances without cutting the stitches, and wash and dry to fray the edges.
