Cabin in the North Free Quilt Pattern by Stephanie Sheridan
Cabin in the North builds a quilt around a large Northwoods fabric square surrounded by framed blocks. Stephanie Sheridan’s design uses a chart to vary the order and direction of strips sewn around the smaller block centers. The blocks are arranged around the central square before two outer borders are added. Brown, cream and charcoal fabrics appear in the material list, and the completed quilt measures 63 inches square.
