Calm Seas Free Quilt Pattern by Natalie Crabtree
Calm Seas uses curved piecing to join three template shapes into rectangular blocks. Natalie Crabtree designed the 65 x 69 inch intermediate quilt with Ebb & Flow fabrics by Essoldo Design. The construction instructions explain how to crease and match the centers of curved edges, align their ends and guide the pieces through the seam. Forty blocks form eight rows of five, surrounded by an Ink border and finished with Jade binding.
