Cardinal Christmas Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
Cardinal Christmas builds a quilt around a printed panel with a Dresden border and a second border of small patchwork squares. Curved piecing joins each Dresden arch to its inner section, and needle-turn applique secures the points to the background. Plain borders separate and frame the pieced sections. Wendy Sheppard designed this intermediate Holiday Greetings project, which finishes at 57 by 77 inches with a final outer print border.
