Casabella - Textured Damask 108" Wide Cream 3 Yard Cut

I'm using it for a tablecloth. I finished the tablecloth. My dining room table is over 8' long by 4' wide. I can cut the fabric and have no seam. I just turn the edges to finish it off!

I love it. I am using it a background fabric with all brown shades (fall colors). It’s perfect. I am hand quilting it now and the needle slides through like butter.

I'm using it for a background on a king size Chandelier quilt in a blue colorway. I find 3 yards of 108 inches is exactly the right amount of background. I feel it gives it a much more interesting quilt with some pattern, and it also hides threads that may try to peek through if I had a solid background. Chandelier is my go to when I need a gift for someone who really isn't going to care about piecing; it's a quickly done quilt.

The movement and the soft fabric will make a great background or backing. The fabric is darker than I normally use, so I will be looking for autumn forward coordinating colored fabric. I will be looking for deep greens, purples, rust, and browns in flow prints or graphic fabric.
