Description:
Chalkboard Cheer Stocking combines a printed outer stocking with a red lining and a turned-down cuff. Fusible fleece supports the outer shape and one side of the cuff, while red pompom trim finishes the cuff edge. A fabric loop is attached inside at the back seam for hanging. The stocking stands 18.5 inches tall, and the pattern includes the foot-template sections, an extension instruction for the upper portion and directions for joining the layers.

Chalkboard Cheer Stocking Free Pattern by Whistler Studios quilt pattern summary
- Join the stocking template sections and extend the upper section as directed. Cut the outer stocking, lining, cuff and loop pieces, then fuse fleece to the outer pieces.
- Sew the outside stocking and lining separately, clipping the curves. Turn the outer stocking, insert the lining wrong sides together and baste the top edge.
- Sew and turn the narrow loop, fold it in half and secure its ends. Baste it inside the stocking at the back seam near the upper edge.
- Fuse fleece to one cuff piece and attach pompom trim. Sew the cuff layers, turn and close them, then attach the cuff inside the stocking and turn it outward.
