Close Encounters Free Quilt Pattern by Heidi Pridemore
Close Encounters is a 66-by-76-inch quilt featuring the Aliens collection. Heidi Pridemore's design alternates rows of pieced blocks with bands of printed fabric. Template-cut triangles and narrow strip units build the blocks, with red, green, blue, gray and black fabrics arranged around contrasting shapes. The printed bands separate three block rows, and additional borders surround the center. The quilt uses yardage and finishes with a separate backing and binding.
