Colonial Court Free Quilt Pattern by Char Hopeman
Colonial Court combines star and chain blocks in an advanced quilt designed by Char Hopeman. Small purple stars sit inside larger units made with quarter-square triangles, while four-patch and nine-patch sections build the alternating chain blocks. Seven rows of five blocks form the center. A flying-geese border sits between two fabric borders, extending the pieced detail around the quilt. The Richmond c. 1862 fabrics finish in a stated 74.5 x 94.5-inch design.
