Color Keys Free Quilt Pattern by Marsha Evans Moore
Color Keys joins pairs of rectangles into simple blocks and alternates their orientation across eight rows. Marsha Evans Moore designed this 47-by-59-3/4-inch quilt with Line by Line batiks, distributing the colors through nine blocks in each row. Narrow dark strips separate the rows, while a contrasting outer border frames the patchwork. The fabric placement diagram identifies the combinations and rotations, so the repeating rectangle construction produces a varied arrangement across the finished top.
