Curiosity Pillow Set Free Pattern by LJ Simon - Free Quilt Pattern
Curiosity Pillow Set makes four 18-inch square pillows using four fabrics from Marcia Derse’s Curiosity collection. Each cover starts with a matching pair of fabric squares backed with woven fusible interfacing for added body. A zipper is installed along the bottom seam, and the remaining sides are sewn and reinforced before the cover is turned. The pattern provides cutting quantities for the complete set, along with the pillow insert and zipper sizes needed for all four pillows.

Curiosity Pillow Set Free Pattern by LJ Simon quilt pattern summary
- Cut the fabric and interfacing squares for the four pillows. Fuse interfacing to the wrong side of each pillow piece following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Place a matching pair right sides together. Stitch the short sections at both ends of the bottom seam, leaving the specified zipper opening, and press the seam allowance open.
- Center and sew the zipper into the opening. Leave it at least halfway open, then stitch the remaining three sides of the cover.
- Clip the corners and reinforce the seams. Turn the cover right side out, insert the pillow and repeat the process for the other three covers.
