Dash of Flowers Free Quilt Pattern by Stephanie Prescott
Dash of Flowers pairs large print-centered blocks with smaller pieced units built from half-square triangles, squares and paired rectangles. Stephanie Prescott designed the 63-by-81-inch quilt for the Ruby collection by Whistler Studios. Seven block variations are arranged in eight rows, with six blocks in each row and a planned sequence of fabric combinations. Three successive borders frame the center, continuing the fabrics used throughout the piecing and giving the rectangular quilt a defined outer edge.
