I love Schmetz needles. They last forever. I bought those because I have some tightly woven cottons I’m working with and I wanted to have them on hand for projects with multiple layers. About 20 years ago I bought a less expensive brand and they were not good. So I stuck with the Schmetz needles.

Perfect for sewing stuffed animals

These needles work great to sew through multiple layers of fabric. Lately, I have been using them to sew stuffed animals. There is a place where the mane and ears all come together that is quite hard to sew.
