Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Dove of Peace alternates five appliqued dove blocks with four pieced blocks in a three-by-three setting. The doves face in two directions against blue backgrounds, with narrow gold frames surrounding each appliqued square. Shaped templates provide the pieces for the alternating blocks, and two print borders complete the quilt top. Designed by Heidi Pridemore with the Faith collection, the finished quilt measures 35 inches square and uses gold binding.

  1. Trace the reversed dove templates onto fusible web, fuse them to the designated fabric, and cut out the shapes. Arrange the right- and left-facing doves on their blue squares.
  2. Stitch around the dove edges and add the gold framing strips. Make the two dove-block orientations in the stated quantities.
  3. Cut and sew the shaped template pieces into the pieced units, then combine them with the center squares to make four alternating blocks.
  4. Join the blocks in three rows, add the word-print and dove-print borders, and layer the quilt. Quilt and bind the edges.
