Dreams of Africa Free Quilt Pattern by Natalie Crabtree
Dreams of Africa uses two arrangements of template-pieced blocks to create an 84.5-inch-square quilt in the Paper Art Safari collection. Twenty Block A units and sixteen Block B units are arranged in six rows with narrow sashing and cornerstones between them. A separate pieced border repeats half-square-triangle units around the center. The design combines directional prints, contrasting triangles and carefully placed template pieces, with an inner border separating the main blocks from the outer frame.
