Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Evening Rose by Betty New combines five pieced basket blocks with appliqued vines, leaves and flowers in a 78.5 inch square quilt. Parlor prints supply fussy-cut rose groups for the baskets and floral details for the setting triangles. Sashing connects the center blocks, which are surrounded by five borders. One border alternates two flying-geese fabric arrangements, and the outer striped border has mitered corners that continue the framing around the quilt.

  2. Prepare the vines, leaves and flower motifs with fusible web, arrange them on the setting triangles, and stitch around them with stabilizer behind the fabric.
  3. Assemble the five basket blocks, then join the baskets, sashing and appliqued setting pieces into the center.
  4. Add the black border, flying-geese border and remaining plain and striped borders, matching and mitering the final striped corners.
  5. Layer, baste and quilt, then bind with the remaining black small-floral fabric.
