Fields From Above Free Quilt Pattern by Natalie Crabtree
Fields From Above builds twenty-five framed blocks using the courthouse steps method, adding pairs of rectangles around a center square. Three block designs vary the center size and number of surrounding layers, while multiple fabric combinations distribute the Nature Study colors across the quilt. The blocks form a five-by-five center enclosed by a narrow outer border. This beginner project finishes at 54 inches square and provides color guides for the individual blocks and a complete placement diagram.
