Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Fiona’s Garden highlights fussy-cut flower motifs inside four large pieced blocks and a sequence of decorative borders. Jean Ann Wright’s intermediate design features Anna Griffin’s Fiona collection, combining pink, light green and brown prints. Triangle units surround the block centers, while pieced triangle borders alternate with fabric strips around the quilt. Mitered corners finish the striped border and outer triangle border before the quilt is layered, quilted and bound.

Fiona’s Garden Free Quilt Pattern by Jean Ann Wright quilt pattern summary

  1. Fussy-cut the flower-centered squares and prepare the triangles, using the paper template where specified. Build the four central square units and their surrounding triangle-and-square sections.
  2. Join the surrounding sections to complete four blocks and sew the blocks together for the center. Add the first fabric border.
  3. Piece and attach the inner triangle border, including its corner squares. Add the fussy-cut stripe border with mitered corners, then piece and attach the outer triangle border and sew its miters.
  4. Layer the top with batting and backing, baste and quilt. Fold the binding lengthwise, attach it to the top and stitch the folded edge on the back.
