Flutter About Free Quilt Pattern by Allison Jane Smith
Flutter About combines thirty framed-square blocks with four fusible butterfly appliques in a 52-by-60-inch quilt. Allison Jane Smith's design uses twenty fat quarters from the Flutter collection, with ivory borders and mint binding from Windham's 1930's solids. Three block arrangements create different frame widths around the print squares. The blocks form six rows of five, and the butterflies can be positioned on the finished quilt top wherever you prefer before quilting and binding.
