Garden Dreamscape is an intermediate quilt by Lisa Swenson Ruble featuring Shine On fabrics. Quarter-square-triangle blocks form a four-by-four center, surrounded by three inner borders and a wide floral border with mitered corners. The finished quilt measures 67 inches square. The pattern also includes instructions for two coordinating pillowcases, using a rolled construction to enclose the cuff seam. Fabric charts are provided separately for the quilt and pillowcases, with a cutting diagram for the border print.

Garden Dreamscape Free Quilt Pattern by Lisa Swenson Ruble quilt pattern summary
- Cut the quilt fabrics, centering the flowers and butterflies in the outer-border strips. Make half-square triangles, then pair and cut them again to form the quarter-square-triangle blocks.
- Join the blocks in four rows of four and add the first three borders. Attach the outer-border strips, stopping short of each corner, and miter the corners.
- Layer the quilt top with batting and backing, baste and quilt as desired. Bind with the H strips.
- For each pillowcase, prepare the cuff, folded accent strip and body. Roll the body inside the cuff, stitch the aligned raw edges and pull the body out of the tube.
- Fold each pillowcase, stitch the open side and end, and serge or zigzag the raw edges. Turn right side out.
