Garden Party Cha Cha Free Quilt Pattern by Melissa Ybarra
Garden Party Cha Cha combines chevrons, half-square triangles, and straight fabric strips in a quilt measuring 86 by 90 inches. Melissa Ybarra's design features the Hello Gorgeous collection by Iza Pearl Design. Three chevron panels alternate with two other pieced panels, separated by white background strips. The middle chevron panel faces the opposite direction from the others. The instructions finish by squaring the side edges before quilting and binding.

Garden Party Cha Cha Free Quilt Pattern by Melissa Ybarra quilt pattern summary
- Cut and label the fabric strips and squares by fabric number and size. Keep the pieces for the three panel types together.
- Join offset strips into two matching chevron halves, trim them on the angle, and sew the halves together. Add the surrounding strips to complete three Panel A sections.
- Make the half-square triangles and join them into long rows. Combine those rows with the specified straight strips to construct Panel B and Panel C.
- Prepare the white background strips and join the five panels in the illustrated order, reversing the middle chevron panel. Square the side edges, quilt, and bind.
