Ghosts & Ghouls Book combines quilted house panels with removable characters and a matching storage envelope. Whistler Studios’ design attaches the figures with Velcro, allowing them to be moved around the haunted-house scenes. An inside section can carry an embroidered or written message, and a stitched center fold joins the book’s sides. The book measures approximately 17 by 15 1/4 inches, while the envelope is about 7 1/2 by 5 inches and holds the cutout figures.

Ghosts & Ghouls Book Free Pattern by Whistler Studios quilt pattern summary
- Cut the house panels and quilt them with batting, then sew Velcro pieces onto the positions where the figures will attach.
- Border the orange inside panel with the spider-web strips, add an optional message, and sew the book sections together, leaving a turning opening.
- Turn the book, close the opening and topstitch the center seam to establish the fold.
- Fuse the character fabric and orange backing to the stiffener, cut out the figures and sew on the remaining Velcro pieces.
- Join the envelope templates, sew and turn the envelope pieces, add the appliqued band and spider button, then fold and secure the envelope with Velcro.
