Gretchen Free Quilt Pattern by Debby Kratovil
Gretchen pairs contrasting prints in triangle blocks that turn a quarter rotation from one neighbor to the next. Debby Kratovil designed the 58-inch square quilt with Sugar Sack fabrics. Large half-square-triangle units receive smaller triangles before the block halves are trimmed and joined. Twenty-five blocks form a five-by-five center, framed by a narrow inner border and a wide outer border. The print requirements are given as fat quarters.
