Holiday Star Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
Holiday Star combines one large central star with smaller stars, square blocks and flying-geese units in an asymmetric arrangement. The pieced additions extend along the right and lower edges of the center, creating a different layout from a quilt framed evenly on all four sides. Featuring Holiday Splendor fabrics, this advanced project finishes at 70 inches square. Template-cut pieces form the stars, and successive borders carry the smaller patchwork elements toward the outer edges.
