Hopscotch Free Quilt Pattern by Larene Smith
Hopscotch is a 45-by-60-inch quilt by Larene Smith that combines strip-pieced block centers with folded prairie points. The Windham Basics Brights collection supplies dot, flower, stripe, heart and star prints for the design. Twelve blocks share the same center construction, while their outside pieces alternate between two arrangements. Six blocks of each arrangement are rotated into four rows, creating the finished top before batting, backing, quilting and binding are added.
