Juliette Star Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
Juliette Star places a small star inside a much larger star, then surrounds the center with individually framed pinwheel blocks. Quarter-square triangles build the two scales of stars, while half-square triangles form the pinwheels. Narrow borders separate the center from the pieced surround, and a matching outer border completes the top. Wendy Sheppard designed this intermediate Juliette quilt, which finishes at 60 inches square and uses several fat eighths.
