Ophelia's Baskets Free Quilt Pattern by Sue Pickering & Jean Katherine Smith
Ophelia's Baskets brings Flower Basket and Garden Basket blocks together around a Potted Star Flower centerpiece. The basket blocks are set diagonally with plain print squares, sashing and small cornerstones. Appliqued stems connect the flowers in the center block, with hand applique and fusible methods offered as alternatives. A narrow inner border separates the quilt center from an outer border of diagonally arranged squares and triangles, finished with contrasting cornerstones.
