Patriot's Pride Free Quilt Pattern by Sarah Maxwell & Dolores Smith
Patriot's Pride combines half-square triangles, printed squares and quarter-square triangle intersections in a 90-inch square medallion quilt. Sarah Maxwell and Dolores Smith designed the project with fabrics from The Centennial Collection. Four pieced blocks form its center, surrounded by groups of smaller red and blue blocks, brown toile sashing and contrasting corner sections. Gold and blue triangle units extend the design outward, while blue serpentine stripe binding completes the edge.
