Picnic Under the Stars, Too Placemats Free Pattern by Sue Pickering & Jean Katherine Smith - Free Quilt Pattern
Picnic Under the Stars, Too Placemats makes four placemats using star appliques and coordinating U.S.A. prints. Each placemat pairs two star blocks with a narrow strip between them, then adds an inner frame and a wider outer border. The fabric selection includes denim and red star prints, white and red backgrounds, and a striped binding fabric. Quilting and binding finish each individual placemat after its bordered top is layered with batting and backing.
