Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Pine Ridge frames a central print rectangle with narrow borders and rows of half-square triangles. Wendy Sheppard designed this beginner quilt using Sundance by Whistler Studios, with a finished size of 39 by 42 inches. Several prints appear in the triangle units, including fabrics supplied as fat eighths. The triangle rows run around all four sides of the framed center, followed by a white frame and a wider printed outer border.

Pine Ridge Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard quilt pattern summary

  1. Cut the center rectangle, border strips and paired squares, keeping the fat-eighth prints identified for the triangle units.
  2. Sew on both sides of the marked diagonals, cut the pairs apart and square up the half-square triangles. Make the quantities for each print.
  3. Add the narrow frames to the center rectangle. Join the half-square triangles into the illustrated side columns and top and bottom rows, then attach them.
  4. Add the remaining white and printed borders, then layer, baste, quilt and bind the quilt.
