Rainbow Waves Free Quilt Pattern by Natalie Crabtree
Rainbow Waves uses repeated strip-pieced blocks to create a wave effect across an 81 x 78-inch quilt. Natalie Crabtree’s design features Diamond Dust fabrics, combining red, coral, yellow and orange with greens, blues and purples. Strips of different widths become narrow segments that form two opposing block arrangements. Alternating those blocks carries the stepped design through the quilt center, while royal blue fabric finishes the outer edge as binding.
