Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Scalloped Centerpiece is an 18-inch-round table decoration made with Bake fabric by Julia Rothman and solid white fabric. Its outline comes from a supplied template with rounded scallops around the edge. The two fabric shapes are sewn together and turned through an opening, with the curves clipped before pressing so the scallops lie smoothly. A hand-sewn closure finishes the last opening. The pattern suggests using the completed centerpiece on a party table.

  1. Enlarge the supplied template by 200 percent and join its sections as marked. Cut one scalloped round from each of the two fabrics.
  2. Place the shapes right sides together and sew around the scallops with the specified seam allowance. Leave an opening in the last scallop and clip the curved seam allowances.
  3. Turn the centerpiece and press each scallop flat. Fold the opening's seam allowance inside, pin it in place and slipstitch the opening closed.
