Silk Shawls Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day
Silk Shawls combines wide and narrow horizontal print strips inside two flying-geese borders separated by a floral frame. Stacey Day designed this advanced-beginner quilt with Joyful fabrics by Sarah Campbell and teal Shot Cotton. The geese are made four at a time, with their direction reversed between the inner and outer rounds. Fussy cutting centers the border flowers and selected strip motifs. The completed quilt measures 80 by 92 inches, with two-by-four-inch finished flying-geese units.
