Sisal - Gray 108" Wide 3 Yard Cut

This is such a neutral color that is can be used as background or sashing and also for backing. I love this fabric and it is a beautiful wide 3 yard cut.

This is one of four wide back purchases. I have laundered and pre-shrunk all of them, and they performed beautifully. When I make large quilt tops with many small pieces, I prefer to use wide backings. I have them ready for finishing off some future quilts. All of the backings I purchased are neutral enough to allow the quilt fronts to be the main attraction.

This was not a planned purchase, but it is going to work for a long overdue t-shirt quilt. I like the background. The recipient loves gray, and instead of just a flat color, I wanted something with a bit of depth and interest.

So easy to blend as background and backing - a beautiful fabric and so happy to have in stock with my stash.

I just had to order more since I think that this color and design is so easy to blend in as background and backing whatever goes.

I haven’t used it yet. I'm using it for a future backing. I like the small design and light color, and there are no flowers for a guys quilt.
