Star Blooms Free Quilt Pattern by Marsha Evans Moore
Star Blooms combines pieced diamond flowers with appliquéd stems and leaves in a 60.75 x 81.5 inch quilt. Marsha Evans Moore designed this intermediate project with Jolene fabrics by Whistler Studios. Flower blocks and their reversed versions are set into three vertical sections, with printed strips separating them. Several borders surround the center, including strips centered on flower motifs. The appliqué instructions offer both turned-edge and raw-edge approaches for preparing the stems and leaves.
