Summerfield Free Quilt Pattern by Marsha Evans Moore
Summerfield alternates flower and butterfly blocks in a 52 inch square quilt designed by Marsha Evans Moore. The intermediate project features Jolene fabrics by Whistler Studios, with appliqué set on pieced backgrounds. Petal rings form the flowers, while layered wings and bodies create the butterflies, finished with embroidered antennae. Sashing and corner squares separate the blocks. The pattern provides turned-edge and raw-edge appliqué options and finishes the quilt with two surrounding borders.
