Binding tool

I had this ruler in NC but gave all my sewing stuff away when we moved to TX. Didn’t think I’d have time to sew with caring for my husband after his massive stroke but my daughter has been a lot of help. A friend of hers, knew I loved to see and sent me a sewing machine. So I’ve been making some lap quilts but really missed my binding tool! If you quilt it’s a must have ❤️

The tool is so slick that it moves a lot while trying to cut around it. Maybe the maker could grind some “rough” dots or spots on the backside of the template. It’s pretty narrow so not much room to get a good hold on it to keep from slipping.

Binding Tool

This is one of my favorite tools. I use it for binding of course but also for many other small patterns that require that same perfect angle. I use a lot of 2.5" blocks and this is perfect to drawing on sew lines. It travels with me as part of my standard set of tools. But alas, it has gone missing and I need to replace it. I miss having it close at hand.

Binding tool awesomeness!

This little tool is like a magic wand when it comes to completing a binding! I’m a very new quilter & recently learned this “trick” from a class I took. However, the binding tool has instructions right on it & makes binding completion a snap! Worth the price!

Binding tool great for other things-binding tool star pattern

LOL I have never used this as a binding tool! I bought it specifically to make the MSQC Binding tool Star Quilt in Block magazine. It makes cutting out the strips fast, easy & VERY accurate. The trimmed point assists in proper placement during assembly such that all pieces mesh together with perfect intersections. And as a bonus, I got it as a daily deal like 1/2 off the original price. Life doesn't get any better than that :-)
