Description:

Tick Tock by Jocelyn Ueng of It’s Sew Emma places three appliquéd clocks over a pieced flannel background. The quilt finishes at 24 by 36½ inches and features On Time Flannel with Terrain flannel coordinates. Five rows of rectangles form the background, while layered circles and separate hand shapes create the clocks in different sizes. A narrow fabric border surrounds the design. Templates include a scale-check square and instructions for joining the larger circle sections before cutting.

Tick Tock Free Quilt Pattern by Jocelyn Ueng quilt pattern summary

  1. Cut and label the rectangles, borders and appliqué fabrics. Print the templates at full scale, check the one-inch square and join the larger circle sections as directed.
  2. Join five background rectangles per row in the illustrated arrangement. Sew the five rows together to form the quilt center.
  3. Prepare the clock circles and hand shapes with the chosen appliqué method. Layer the faces and hands, position the three clocks on the background and appliqué them in place.
  4. Attach the side borders, followed by the top and bottom borders. Layer the backing, batting and top, baste and quilt, then finish with the binding.
