To Grandmother's House Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard
To Grandmother's House combines a pieced house with two kinds of tree blocks and appliqued storybook figures. Wendy Sheppard designed the 81 1/2 by 90 1/2-inch quilt with Little Red Riding Hood fabrics. Template-shaped trees and stacked flying-geese trees share the center, separated by sashing. A border of small print squares sits between plain borders, while the girl, hood and wolf appliques complete the scene around the pieced construction.
