Tree of Life Free Quilt Pattern by Mary Koval
Tree of Life is a 78-by-97-inch quilt designed by Mary Koval using her Palampore and Tree of Life ca 1830 collections. A large fussy-cut Palampore center is framed with rows of hourglass blocks and additional strips cut from the panel. Square-in-a-square blocks finish the corners of the panel borders, and blue etching fabric forms the outer border. Assorted light and darker prints supply the hourglass units, with extra squares cut to allow choices in their color combinations.
