Heidi Pridemore designed the 60 x 64 inch quilt using the Paradise collection. Narrow frames separate the printed sections, while repeated pieced units form the outer border. The smaller panel pictures sit at the corners of the surrounding print bands, giving the central panel and the coordinated prints distinct places within the finished quilt.

Tropical Momentos Free Quilt Pattern by Heidi Pridemore quilt pattern summary
- Center and cut the large and small panel pictures, then cut the framing strips, border fabrics and pieced-border squares. Keep the print directions consistent.
- Frame the large panel and the four smaller pictures, trimming them as directed. Piece the cornered square units for the outer borders.
- Add the narrow borders and print bands around the center, placing the small framed pictures at the corners. Join the pieced units into the outer strips and attach them.
- Layer and quilt the completed top, then join and press the binding strips before binding the quilt.
