Tumbler Free Quilt Pattern by Lucy A. Fazely
Tumbler combines solid shot cottons with striped fabrics in rows of four different tumbler sizes. Each row alternates the direction of its shapes so their angled sides join into a continuous strip. The completed rows are centered and sewn together, then the uneven outer edges are trimmed. This beginner project finishes at 68 by 78 inches and includes full-size cutting templates. Fat quarters supply the solids and stripes, with additional solid pieces joined into a scrappy binding.
