Tweetly Dee Free Quilt Pattern by Lisa Swenson Ruble
Tweetly Dee combines pieced birdhouses, four-patch blocks and hourglass units in a 21-by-31.5-inch quilt featuring Serenade fabrics. Rows of different blocks alternate with fabric strips, while fussy-cut birds and circular house openings add applique details. Tall and short birdhouses share the central row, with their roofs and bodies assembled separately. The row-by-row construction creates a small quilt that brings several piecing methods together with fusible applique.
