Under the Rainbow Free Quilt Pattern by Marsha Evans Moore
Under the Rainbow arranges six potted flowers in two rows, using BeColourful Blush fabrics by Jacqueline de Jonge. Marsha Evans Moore's intermediate quilt includes both turned-edge and raw-edge appliqué options for the petals, stems and other flower pieces. Sashing separates the flower blocks, while plain borders and small alternating fabric rectangles finish the outside. The completed quilt measures 46-1/2 by 48-1/2 inches and changes the flower and pot fabrics across the six blocks.

- Stitch the flower sections to their background rectangles, then arrange and stitch the pot, stem and leaves on the lower rectangles. Join the upper and lower sections and repeat for the six fabric combinations.
- Join the blocks in two rows with sashing and connecting rectangles, then add the plain borders. Piece the small alternating rectangles for the outer borders, attach them, and layer, quilt and bind.
